What size display cases do you have?
Display cases come in two styles. Full Vision cases come in 48"×18"×38", 70"×18"×38", and 48"×18"×78". Extra Vision cases come in 48"×20"×38", 70"×20"×38", and 48"×20"×72". Wall display cases range from 72" to 78" tall.
What is the difference between Full Vision and Extra Vision?
Full Vision: glass on the front and top, with solid panels on the left and right sides. Extra Vision: glass on all sides — front, top, left, and right — giving maximum visibility from any angle. Think "Extra Visibility."
What display case colors are available?
We stock black, white, maple, and cherry display cases. Custom colors can be ordered by choosing any Formica color at formica.com — call us to discuss custom color options.
Do display cases come with locks?
Yes — all display cases include either a plunger lock or ratchet lock standard, unless specified otherwise. Two keys are included with each case.
Do display cases come with lights?
Extra Vision display cases come with LED lights across the top, mirrored doors, and a plunger lock. We also offer custom LED lighting on 2 sides, 3 sides, or all around the frame. RGB color-changing LED is also available. Call us to discuss custom lighting.
How many display cases qualify for bulk discounts?

How long does assembly take?
Assembly typically takes 45–90 minutes per case. The first case takes the longest due to the learning curve; each additional case goes faster. Tools needed: screwdriver, rubber mallet, razor blade, and scissors.
What happens if glass breaks during shipping?
We replace it at no cost. Take photos of the damage, sign the delivery receipt as damaged, and send us the photos. We'll file the freight claim on our end and ship replacements immediately.
Can display cases be shipped assembled?
Yes — we ship fully assembled anywhere in the country. There is an assembly fee and higher shipping cost due to the additional volume, but it saves significant time on your end.
Can I add custom graphics to my display cases?
Yes — let us know the design you'd like and we'll add custom graphics to the case sides or bottom kickplate. Great for events, trade shows, and branding your retail store.
What store layouts work with display cases?
The most common layouts are an "L" shape, "U" shape, kiosk square shape, or straight line. Corner pieces are available for customer-facing display and employee-facing storage on either end.
How many display cases does DISPLAYARAMA keep in stock?
We typically carry between 200 and 1,000 display cases in stock at any given time across all color and size variations — so you're never waiting on backorders.
What is an Extra Vision display case?
Extra Vision = Extra Visibility. Glass on all four sides (front, top, left, right) for maximum multi-angle viewing. Comes standard with LED lighting, mirrored doors, and a plunger lock.
What is a full vision display case?
A full vision display case has glass on the front and top, with solid panels on the left and right sides. The bottom kickplate is slightly taller than the Extra Vision style.
What lighting options are available?
Custom LED lighting at 6,000K white light, installable on 2 sides, 3 sides, or all around the frame using adhesive strips. RGB color-changing LEDs are also available. Call us to discuss and price out custom lighting.
What kind of shelving fits inside the cases?
We carry glass shelves that extend from the front glass to the back standards to maximize display space. We also have deeper shelves that cover the entire length and width, plus brackets that support the shelving.
What is a display case corner used for?
Corners are used on either end of a display case run. On the customer-facing side, corners display additional products. On the employee-facing side, they provide convenient storage space.
Can I add a drawer under the display case?
Yes — Extra Vision Display Cases have the option to add a drawer or multiple drawers integrated into the base. Call us to ask about pricing for this option.
Do display cases come with locks?
Yes — every display case includes either a plunger lock or ratchet lock standard, with two keys per unit. Wall display cases also include built-in locks.
What makes DISPLAYARAMA cases better than competitors?
Longer screws on the vertical standards hold more shelf weight without stripping. Doors run on rolling wheel tracks so they glide without jamming. Cases are cleaned during manufacturing to remove metal debris that can scratch glass. Styrofoam and paper packaging prevents breakage in transit. Every unit includes locks standard.
How much weight can each shelf hold?
Use good judgment based on your products. We've had customers display guns, hardware, sports cards, paint supplies, jewelry, and more without any shelf-breaking issues reported back to us.
Can I attach a swinging door to the side?
Yes — drill through the side or top frame to attach hinges with a swinging door. Some customers prefer doors that open vertically; others prefer a two-way hinge. Call us for guidance on your setup.

Do you offer checkout counter and display case combos?
We sell display cases and checkout counters independently so you have the flexibility to move them around your store however your layout requires.
Do you have checkout counters with a flat top?
Yes — we have cash wrap counters with flat tops. We can also custom build checkout counters with a logo, ADA compliance, wheels, locking drawers, and back storage. Call to discuss custom checkout counters.
How long does it take to assemble a display case?
Roughly 45–90 minutes per case. The first case typically takes the longest because of the learning curve — each additional case goes noticeably faster as you get the hang of it.
What tools do I need to assemble display cases?
Screwdriver, rubber mallet, razor blade, and scissors. That's it — no power tools or special equipment required.
How do I unload display cases from the delivery truck?
The truck driver uses a lift gate to lower the pallet to the ground, then brings it to your front door. The pallet arrives strapped and enclosed in wood on all sides. Cut the straps, unscrew one side of the wood crate, and pull the boxes out one at a time. Having one extra person on-site helps with the heavier boxes.
Can I add more shelves inside a display case?
Yes — we carry additional shelves that can be added to each display case to increase your product display capacity. Call us to add extra shelves to your order.
