We guarantee damage-free shipping — but if something does arrive damaged, we replace it at no cost to you. Take photographs of any damage, note it on the delivery receipt, and send us the photos. We file the freight claim and ship your replacement. You are never responsible for carrier damage on DISPLAYARAMA orders.

We stock gondola shelving in standard heights of 48", 54", 60", 72", and 84". Standard widths are 36" or 48". Most beauty supply stores use 60"–72" height wall gondolas for perimeter display and 54"–60" double-sided gondolas in aisles to maintain sightlines across the floor.
What's the difference between wall and double-sided gondola?
Wall gondola is a single-sided unit designed to sit against a wall — it displays products on one side only. Double-sided gondola is freestanding and displays products on both sides, making it ideal for creating product aisles in the center of your floor. Both use the same adjustable shelf system.

What is the slat spacing — 3" or 6"?
3" slat spacing is standard and gives you the most flexibility for accessory placement. 6" slat spacing has a cleaner, more modern look (sometimes called a "shiplap" look) and is popular in upscale boutique-style beauty supply stores. Both sizes use the same accessories — they're fully compatible.
How do I install slatwall panels?
Installation requires 2" self-tapping screws for wood or metal studs, or 3" tapcons for concrete walls. Use a minimum of 28 screws per 4'×8' sheet. Do not remove aluminum inserts before installing — drill directly through them. Each sheet takes 20–60 minutes. Check the setup video above for a full walkthrough. Can slatwall panels be cut to a custom size?
Yes — slatwall can be cut to size using a circular saw or table saw with a fine-toothed blade. Mark your cut lines on painter's tape to prevent chipping. Slatwall can also be cut for electrical outlets using a jigsaw or keyhole saw. Mark the outlet position on painter's tape before cutting. (DISPLAYARAMA ONLY PROVIDES SLATWALL IN 4x4 and 4x8 SIZES)
Will standard pegboard hooks work on slatwall?
No — pegboard hooks are not compatible with slatwall. Slatwall requires dedicated slatwall accessories designed to slide into the grooves. Our hooks, shelves, baskets, and faceouts are all purpose-built for slatwall and will slide in securely, hang straight, and not wobble.
How are slatwall panels delivered?
Slatwall panels are delivered by freight carrier. The driver will call to schedule a delivery appointment so you know exactly when to expect them. Note: 4'×8' panels cannot use a liftgate and must be manually offloaded one at a time by two people. 4'×4' panels can use a liftgate for easier unloading.

What happens if something arrives damaged?
If anything arrives damaged, we replace it at no cost. For visible damage: get an Exception Number from the driver, photograph the damage, and note it on the delivery receipt. For hidden damage discovered after delivery: call us immediately. Send us photos and we handle the freight claim and replacement shipment.
