Do your display cases come with locks?
Yes — every display case ships standard with a plunger or ratchet lock and two keys. Wall-mounted cases also include built-in locking mechanisms. Great for securing higher-value souvenirs, jewelry, or collectibles in a busy tourist environment.
Can I get LED lighting in my display cases?
Yes. Our Extra Vision cases come standard with LED lighting (6,000K white light) and mirrored doors for maximum brightness. Custom LED can also be installed on the sides, top, or all around the interior. We also offer RGB color-changing LED if you want to match your store's aesthetic or highlight specific products.
What slatwall colors are available for souvenir shops?
We carry 13 slatwall colors and finishes: gloss black, matte black, black woodgrain, gloss white, matte white, white woodgrain, gray, gray woodgrain, maple, cherry, barnwood, Sonoma oak, and raw MDF (paintable). For souvenir shops, white or natural woodgrain finishes are popular for a bright, tourist-friendly look, while black works great for premium gift shops and museum stores.
How much weight can slatwall hold?
Standard MDF slatwall without inserts holds 30 lbs per groove. With aluminum inserts (included on most of our panels), that jumps to 100 lbs per groove — more than enough for shelves stocked with souvenirs, mugs, clothing, and accessories.
What gondola shelving heights do you carry?
Standard heights are 48", 54", 60", 72", and 84". Widths are available in 36" and 48". For souvenir shops, 60"–72" gondola runs are common for mid-floor aisles — short enough that customers can see over them to the rest of the store. We also carry end cap units for additional display space at the end of each run.

How long does assembly take?
Display cases take roughly 45–90 minutes each — the first one takes longest, and each subsequent unit goes faster once you're familiar with the process. Slatwall installation typically runs 20–60 minutes per 4'×8' sheet. If you'd rather not deal with assembly, we offer a fully assembled delivery option and can also handle on-site installation anywhere in the country.
What is the difference between Full Vision and Extra Vision display cases?
Full Vision cases have glass on the front and top, with solid sides — great for most retail environments. Extra Vision cases have glass on the front, top, AND sides, giving maximum multi-angle visibility from all directions. Extra Vision is ideal for high-traffic souvenir shops where customers walk around the case from multiple angles.
What sizes are available?
Full Vision cases: 48"×18"×38", 70"×18"×38", and 48"×18"×78" (tall tower). Extra Vision cases: 48"×20"×38", 70"×20"×38", and 48"×20"×72". We stock all variations and can ship immediately.
Can I customize display cases to match my store's theme or branding?
Yes — display cases are available in black, white, maple, and cherry frames to match your store's aesthetic. You can also add custom graphics or logos to the sides or kickplates. Great for branded souvenir shops, museum gift stores, and tourist attractions that want a cohesive look.
Can display cases be shipped pre-assembled?
Yes — for an additional fee, we'll fully assemble every unit, palletize and crate it, and ship it ready to roll right off the truck. The shipping cost is higher, but it saves significant setup time. Ideal if you're opening fast or don't have crew available for assembly.
What are the standard slatwall panel dimensions?
Standard slatwall panels are 4'×8' (48"×96"), ¾" thick. We also carry 4'×4' half-panels for spaces that don't require full-height coverage. The 4'×4' panels are also easier to install solo — they weigh about 45 lbs versus 75–90 lbs for a full 4'×8' sheet.
What accessories can I use with slatwall in a souvenir shop?
Slatwall is incredibly versatile. Popular accessories for souvenir shops include: hooks for keychains, magnets, and hanging gifts; wire baskets for small items like postcards, candy, and trinkets; glass or wood shelves for mugs, bottles, and framed art; faceouts for folded apparel; and hat holders for caps and beanies. All accessories use the standard universal groove format.
Can slatwall panels be cut to fit?
Yes. Slatwall can be cut with a circular saw, table saw, or fine-toothed blade. Mark your cuts on painter's tape to prevent chipping. You can also cut around electrical outlets with a jigsaw or keyhole saw. We recommend marking cuts on painter's tape to keep the finish clean.

What is the difference between wall and double-sided gondola?
Wall gondola is designed to run along a wall — it has a display surface on one side only. Double-sided gondola is freestanding and displays product on both sides, making it ideal for aisle runs in the middle of your souvenir shop floor. Most shops use wall gondola around the perimeter and double-sided in aisles.
Can gondola shelves be reconfigured after installation?
Yes — gondola shelves are fully adjustable. You can reposition them at any time without tools by sliding them up or down the upright. This makes it easy to adjust your layout for seasonal merchandise, new product lines, or changing display needs.
How much weight can gondola shelves hold?
Our gondola shelving is built from heavy-duty steel with a powder coat finish rated for commercial retail environments. Shelf load capacity varies by model but typically ranges from 200–400 lbs per shelf when properly installed on the uprights.
What are gondola end caps and do I need them?
End caps are units that attach to the end of a gondola run, facing the aisle. They create additional display space and prime visual merchandising positions — perfect for featured items, impulse buys, or promotional products. If you're running gondola aisles in your souvenir shop, end caps are a great way to maximize revenue per square foot.
How is my order shipped?
All orders are shipped via freight. Your fixtures are packaged in boxes, palletized, and protected in a custom crate built specifically for your order. Assembly instructions are included. The freight carrier will call you to schedule a delivery appointment so you know exactly when to expect it.
What if something arrives damaged?
We replace it at no cost. If damage is visible on delivery, photograph everything, note it on the delivery receipt, and send us the photos — we file the freight claim and ship a replacement. If damage is discovered after the driver leaves, call us immediately. Either way, you're covered.
